GroupLink
Sunday, September 12th  (6 - 7:30 PM)

I.  Who’s Invited?

Everyone who wants to be in a group

Everyone who is in a group that is launching a new group
Everyone who is in a group that is seeking to add new members

(If you are still not sure, just ask your group leader if you should be there)

II.  What is it?
GroupLink is a 1 ½ hour event where you come to connect with people in your same stage of life and/or area of town to form a Life Group.

Life groups are small groups of married couples or individuals of the same gender that meet weekly in a group member's home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. They are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity.

Married Couples
Life groups are comprised of married couples in the same stage of life (Couples without children, Couples with children, and Empty nesters) and/or area of town.

Men's and Women's
Men’s & Women’s groups include individuals of various stages of life (married, single, divorced, widowed) in same-gender groups.

College & Young Singles
Life groups comprised of singles under 35.  These groups are also same-gender groups.

III.  What to Expect at GroupLink
When you arrive at GroupLink, you will be directed to the check-in area, where you will sign in and receive your nametag. The evening is divided into five segments (a little more detail about each segment is below).

Preview
During the first part of the evening, you'll receive a warm welcome from the event host and a quick overview of what to expect.

30-Minute Mingle
The 30-Minute Mingle is an opportunity to meet others who are in your stage of life.  You'll have to put in a little effort to meet a few new folks, but it will be well worth it! You'll spend time in conversation and getting to know people. Potential groups begin to take shape and friendships begin to form.

Group Formation
During the Group Formation, you will get better acquainted with the new people you've met and begin to form a group.  If you are in a group that is not reshuffling or adding any new members then you can just sit back with your group, relax and take advantage of some free snacks and drinks.

Vision Cast
During the Vision Cast segment, you will watch a video that takes a humorous look at what a Life group is and what it isn't.  And the Group Director will share briefly about what we hope to see accomplished in groups this year.

Group Launch
To wrap up the evening, each group will sit back, relax, and get to know each other a little bit better. You’ll have some fun with some "icebreaker questions" and, if you are a newly formed group, then you will plan your first social event or group meeting.
